     Traverse Bay Inn is a fine place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Perch Lake has to offer, you can camp at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Perch Lake. A quick journey to East Creek right next door to Perch Lake is a perfect idea. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Wethea Lake is one of those nearby, and Perch Lake is a great  
   place to visit for more than one day, Timber Ridge RV and Recreation Resort is a great place to camp nearby. At Perch Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Perch Lake tend to be in the 10's.
After a long day outdoors North Shore Inn is a good place to spend a
 
               night or two, and Boardman River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. Here at Perch Lake you'll probably meet some people from Traverse City, and if you've had enough of Perch Lake, Arbutus Lake is close by. Perch Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
