A fine spot to camp here at Penny Lake is Mackinaw Campgrounds, and dry warm beds await you at Waterfront Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Penny Lake is not the only place nearby, Malony Lake is a nearby lake, and camping is available at Mackinaw City Camping. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can       always go whitewater paddling on Sturgeon River, as expected you could also take a look at Mud Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Penny Lake. Gotta ski! Nubs Nob is a great place to do that.
