Lakes are such serene locations, why not stop by Banner Lake next to Pelton Pond. There's so much to do here at Pelton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bobcat Lake Campground is a perfect place for that. Life's too short to enjoy all       the enjoyable stuff in the Gogebic Range. Drift down the rapids of Presque Isle in a kayak, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Indianhead. A common amount of rain falls here at Pelton Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. At Pelton Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with                  highs in the 10's while Pelton Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. There's nice hiking along the Alligator Eye Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Banner Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out; Pelton Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pomeroy Lake Campground is a good local campground.
