Peckham Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A magnificent close by hotel is Schuss Village - Shanty Creek Resorts, and you can stay the night at Antrim 131 RV Campground. If you need a site to stay Cedar River Village - Shanty Creek Resorts is a nice choice, and Rapid River Campground is a wonderful campground here. What would winter be without some skiing at Boyne Mountain.

| | at Peckham Lake get into the 80's, and the night is rather cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Peckham Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Shanty Creek is a glorious place to do that, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Johnson Pond. Peckham Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
