For the period of the summer months at Peanut Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Peanut Lake. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Lakes are wonderful; Spud Lake is a lake that's close to Peanut Lake, and dry warm beds await you       at AmericInn Munising. A fine location to camp here at Peanut Lake is Hiawatha Resort and Campground, and a quick spree to Deer Creek is positively a perfect idea. Peanut Lake is right by the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Peanut Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Wide Water Campground is a nice local campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Munising is a pleasant choice,                  and the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are good spots to explore, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is no exception, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Green Bass Lake is one of those close by.
