This lake is so wonderful. Peanut Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Hiawatha Resort and Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and glorious hiking is available along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. The warmest time of the year at Peanut Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets       in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Peanut Lake. From a rainfall point of view Peanut Lake is a rather typical site; September is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. Not far from Peanut Lake, you'll discover Spud Lake which is a beautiful lake.
