There's great hiking along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail; Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a wonderful location to get some rest. All through the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 70's at Peacock Lake with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Peacock Lake. Don't leave Peacock Lake without first going       for a hike along the Haymeadow Falls Trail, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Au Train River. After a long day outdoors Munising - Days Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two; Greens Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There are great locations to discover along the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail, and do pay a visit to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore while you're here at Peacock Lake. Don't stop me now,                  cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Peacock Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Gladstone Ski Park, and why not camp at Whispering Valley Campground since you're here at Peacock Lake. Camping is available at Edgewood Motel, and if you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Poplar Lake. The yearly rain here at Peacock Lake is about average; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month.
