After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area is a fine spot to spend a night or two. At Peacock Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Peacock Lake tend to be       in the 0's. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Peacock Lake called the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Peacock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Edgewood Motel. Just can't get enough of Peacock Lake. While you're here at Peacock Lake, you could also stop by pretty Poplar Lake, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Munising is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are fine locations                  to discover along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Au Train River. Peacock Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; most of the rain falls all through September, and the driest month of the year is February.
