This lake is so wonderful. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Shanty Creek, and do explore Mirror Lake, it's a pretty lake. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do close to Parsons Lake. If you're going to Parsons Lake from Cadillac, you won't be the only one, and skiing at       Caberfae Peaks is one of those things you just must do. Parsons Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; September is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Oak Grove Campground is a nice local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn & Suites. Parsons Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Lake Billings Campgrounds is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and whitewater paddling is                  nice on Boardman River. Summertime highs at Parsons Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
