From a rainfall point of view Park Lake is a quite common spot; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Whitewater paddling is good on Red Cedar River, and Residence Inn By Marriott East Lansing is a splendid spot to get some rest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Park Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are       generally in the 20's with temperatures at Park Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Moon Lake Campground is always a magnificent experience; Timber Ridge Golf Club is a golf course close by. If you're dropping by Park Lake from Lansing-East Lansing, you won't be the only one, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 University/ East Lansing is a nice choice. So many cool things to do at Park Lake, so little                  time. There are other places here than Park Lake, for example Priggooris Lake.
