     Why not stop at Saint Martin Point also since you're here, and you're perhaps into lakes, Loon Lake is one of those nearby. A typical amount of rain falls here at Paquin Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically September, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. After a long day outdoors Mission Point Resort is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Horseshoe Bay Trail. A good  
   nearby hotel is Grand Hotel, and Bay City Lake Campground is a nice local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Sault Ste. Marie here, and St Ignace Koa Kampground is a fine campground nearby. But wait, there's more to do next to Paquin Lake. Lakes are great; Morgan Spring is a lake that's near Paquin Lake; going for a hike on the Mackinac Trail is always a nice adventure.

               to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Paquin Lake.
