A beautiful lake like Cookson Lake near Palmer Lake is a fine location to pop by, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express MANISTIQUE. Palmer Lake really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Stay the night at Merwin Creek Campground. Throughout the summertime       at Palmer Lake highs are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Palmer Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Merwin Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at, and going for a hike on the High Rollways Truck Trail is always a perfect adventure. From a rain point of view Palmer Lake is a rather normal location;                  September is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
