Alabaster Whitney Drain is a gorgeous stream that is worth taking a look at; a brilliant place to take a look at is Ipperwash Scarp. All through the summer months here at Oxbow Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and the night is fairly colder of course, usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows       in the 0's to Oxbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge & Suites is a splendid place to get some rest, and Shady Oaks Campgrounds is a great campground nearby. From a rainfall point of view Oxbow Lake is a quite typical site; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. A magnificent nearby hotel is Au Gres Harbor Inn. Lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is around here.
