The slopes of Indianhead are so inviting nobody can resist, and there are other spots here than Orchid Lake, for example Bluejay Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. There are some good whitewater spots on Planter Creek, and hey, Gotta ski right? Big Powderhorn Mountain is a pleasant place to do that. Having a brilliant time in the Gogebic Range is simple. If you're here at Orchid Lake, you could                  stop at Osprey Creek. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Orchid Lake. Camping is available at Presque Isle Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Presque Isle offers some brilliant whitewater. The amount of precipitation that falls at Orchid Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
