The nice folks of Traverse City like to hang out nearby, and you're perhaps interested in lakes, Mougeys Lake is one of those nearby. Ingalls Bay is in close proximity and always tremendous to have a look at, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Four Seasons is a great spot to spend a night or two. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Boardman River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Omena Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wild Cherry Resort. Throughout the summertime here at Omena Lake, high temperatures
usually get into the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Omena Lake fall into the 10's.
