You'll meet a lot of people from Traverse City here. The annual rain here at Oatly Lake is about average; through the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Briar Hill is clearly visible from Oatly Lake; camping at Mesick Trailer Park is always a delightful experience. Oatly Lake is       right by the McKenzie Ski Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Traverse City. Hiking along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail is good fun, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Jewett Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Paddling on Boardman River is so much fun; there's some flowing water nearby, Cole Creek is a stream you can pop by while here. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place to camp here at Oatly Lake is Traverse                  City Koa, and the skiing at Caberfae Peaks is good. For the duration of the long summer days at Oatly Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Oatly Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Man, is there loads of cool things to do near Oatly Lake. Glide down the rapids of Pine River in a kayak; Econo Lodge Traverse City is a tremendous place to get some rest.
