Lakes are pleasant; Lake Gitchegumee is a lake that's near Oatly Lake; you get a good view of Briar Hill from here. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Oatly Lake is so good! Econo Lodge Traverse City is a good place to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield       Inn By Marriott Traverse City; get yourself into a kayak and hit Boardman River. Camping at Traverse City Koa is always a pleasant experience, and hiking along the McKenzie Ski Trail is wonderful fun. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Caberfae Peaks is a good place to do that, and Oatly Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Mesick Trailer Park is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There are some tremendous whitewater                  spots on Pine River; Oatly Lake is a site with many visitors from Traverse City. Cole Creek flows through this vicinity, and Oatly Lake is right by the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Oatly Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during September, and February meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the summer months highs here at Oatly Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's.
