This is a nice region for people who like lakes. Lawrence Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; there's some flowing water nearby, Big Stone Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here. Gotta ski! Boyne Highlands is a great place to do that, and you can stay the night at Lake Shore RV Park. So much exciting stuff to do here at O'Neal Lake, too magnificent to be true. While you're here at O'Neal Lake you have to go to Big Stone Bay. Lakes are pleasant;

| | Canada Goose Pond is a lake that's close to O'Neal Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Wilderness Golf Course is in the neighborhood, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express MACKINAW CITY. O'Neal Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Mackinaw Koa Kampground is a great site to camp nearby, and if you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Inn/Mackinaw City is a tremendous choice. | |

During the warmest time of the year here at O'Neal Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's while O'Neal Lake overnight
low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Nubs Nob, and you can go for a hike on the Horseshoe Bay Trail. If you come at the right time of year,
Bear River offers some great whitewater, and at O'Neal Lake you can make out Mountain Nebo. O'Neal Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; during the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
