This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Whispering Oaks Campground and Cabins, and if you're here, you could also stop at wonderful North Pond. Spruce Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail. Summer at North Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When       the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at North Lake dip into the 10's. The annual rainfall here at North Lake is about average; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Take a hike on the North Country National Scenic Trail, and camping at Putman                  Lake Camping is always a wonderful experience. What a spot this is for outdoors people.
