North Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at North Lake. The great people of Escanaba like to hang out close by, and North Lake is not the only spot close by, South Lake is a close by lake. | | trip to No See-um Creek. Ford River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby; a fine nearby hotel is Best Western Pioneer Inn.
Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Escanaba River, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Escanaba is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brevort Lake Campground - Hiawatha National Forest is a good place for that; swamps are exciting | |

spots and Sunny Brook near North Lake is no exception. High temperatures at North Lake through the summertime are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the
20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to North Lake.
An average amount of rain falls at North Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Gladstone Ski Park.
