Sunny Brook is a swamp close to North Lake, and Comfort Suites Escanaba is a pleasant spot to get some rest. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore North Lake. North Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Seven Lake Campground - Hiawatha National Forest is a good local campground; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Ford River. North Lake gets       a common amount of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Brevort Lake Campground - Hiawatha National Forest is a great location to do that, and you'll find a pretty lake called South Lake. There's whitewater on Escanaba River for all you thrill seekers, and Gladstone Ski Park has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. No See-um Creek is                  a charming stream that is worth taking a look at, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Pioneer Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two. At North Lake you always meet someone from Escanaba, and do pop by Henderson Lakes, it's a lovely lake. All through the months of summer at North Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.
