This lake is so wonderful. During the summer months here at North Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to North Lake. Do check out Henderson Lakes near North Lake, it's a scenic lake,       and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Pioneer Inn & Suites is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Ford River is so much fun, and North Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Seven Lake Campground - Hiawatha National Forest is a glorious local campground. You'll come across a pretty lake called South Lake near North Lake. There's so much to do here at North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brevort Lake                  Campground - Hiawatha National Forest is a pleasant place for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near North Lake. There are plenty of folks from Escanaba here at North Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Escanaba River. From a rainfall point of view North Lake is a quite typical spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month.
