This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Sleepy Bear Camp Grounds while you're here at North Bar Lake, and at North Bar Lake you can see Shauger Hill. After a long day outdoors Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Head up to Homestead and strap some skis to your feet; Sleeping Bear Dunes National       Lakeshore is a glorious local destination. For the duration of the warm days of summer at North Bar Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at North Bar Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. North Bar Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; most of the rain falls through September, and February on the other hand is the                  driest.
