Try North Fork Mill Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Huron River; Fourmile Lake is a magnificent lake close by. There's so much to do here at Nordman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Timberland Campground is a great site for that; Mount Brighton is a very popular       ski area in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summertime months here at Nordman Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Nordman Lake are in the 10's. Nordman Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is commonly the driest                  month. At Nordman Lake you always meet someone from Ann Arbor, and Prospect Hill is clearly visible from Nordman Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Chelsea, and a beautiful lake like Sutton Lake is a brilliant site to stop by. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Nordman Lake.
