The Horseshoe Bay Trail offers hiking at its best, and Nolten Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Mackinaw City Camping is a perfect spot to camp nearby. From a rainfall point of view Nolten Lake is a rather normal site; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February. Boyne Highlands has great slopes and a friendly       staff, and if you need a location to stay Mackinaw Beach and Bay All Suites Resort is a brilliant choice. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. Getting to Mud Creek from Nolten Lake is uncomplicated; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Dow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Waterfront Inn; unsurprisingly, this is a tremendous vicinity                  for folks who like lakes, Twin Lake is a lake around here. At Nolten Lake through the summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
