A round of golf at nearby Meceola Country Club is a good way to kill some time, and dry warm beds await you at Hari Aum. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Nijode Lakes; through the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Horsehead Lake Campground is a brilliant campground here,       and you can stay the night at Blue Gill Lake Campground. Summertime highs at Nijode Lakes mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Nijode Lakes temperatures fall to the 0's. You'll meet a lot of folks from Big Rapids here; Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Big Rapids, Mi is a tremendous place to get some rest. There's                  brilliant hiking along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail, and Nijode Lakes is not the only place nearby, Anderson Lake is a nearby lake.
