This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express CHELSEA, and Red Cedar River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Do visit Lowe Lake close to Nichols Lake, it's a picturesque lake; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Willow Creek Golf Club is around here. If you need a site to stay Best Western Fowlerville is a wonderful choice; a nice location to camp here at Nichols Lake is Deercreek Resort. Throughout the warm days of summer at Nichols Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's while nighttime lows are                  frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Nichols Lake are in the 10's.
