MORE STUFF NEARBY:

Craig Lake
This was a great time. A buddy of mine and I grabbed the canoe, tent, and fishing gear and headed out for a week. We overpacked, which made the reasonable portage quite difficult, though. After all the work, we were rewarded with a secluded island camp site about 30 minutes paddle from where we put in. I recommend this lake to anyone that likes to camp or fish. We caught a large number of Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass while we were there, and were quite sad to leave. Peshekee River
11 miles away
