Nelligan Creek is a great site to stop at, and camping at Nelligan Lake is good fun, Michigamme Shores Campground is a good local campground. A perfect location for whitewater paddling close to Nelligan Lake is Peshekee River. At Nelligan Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's;       overnight lows throughout the winter for Nelligan Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Michigamme River; Nelligan Lake is a good place to camp, Silver Lake Resort is a good place.
