Summertime highs at Nelligan Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights       at Nelligan Lake are in the 0's. Peshekee River is a great whitewater spot close to Nelligan Lake, and a delightful site for whitewater paddling is Michigamme River. This lake is so wonderful.
