Hiking along the Valley Spur Ski Trail is magnificent fun. Hiawatha Resort and Campground is a good campground nearby, and Neds Lake is right by the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. Neds Lake is a good place of typical rain; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Munising       is a good site to spend a night or two; getting to Grassy Creek from Neds Lake is easy. There are other spots here than Neds Lake, for example Center Lake; Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is one of the destinations that are pleasant to go to nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Wide Water Campground is a brilliant place to camp, and AmericInn Munising is a wonderful site to get some rest. If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great                  planet it would be. McInnes Lake is a glorious lake in the neighborhood of Neds Lake, and the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail offers hiking at its best.
