A pleasant close by hotel is Baymont Inn & Suites Lansing N/DeWitt, and why not camp at Lansing Cottonwood Campground if you're here at Muskrat Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Muskrat Lake is a place with many visitors from Lansing-East Lansing, and if you need a place to stay Sleep Inn Dewitt is a magnificent choice. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Whitewater       paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Red Cedar River. Lakes? Sure, Alward Lake is nearby. The yearly precipitation here at Muskrat Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is commonly September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Life O'riley Mobile Home Park is a brilliant site to camp, and a golf course close by is Twin Oaks Golf Course.                  Summertime highs at Muskrat Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's.
