You'll need more than a day to discover everything Muskrat Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bullock's Paul Bunyan Campground, and if you need a place to stay Holiday       Inn ALPENA is a glorious choice. The amount of rainfall that falls at Muskrat Lake is close to the national average; all through August this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. There's so much to do here at Muskrat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ossineke Forest Campground is a good location for that, and as expected, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Millikin Lake is a lake close by.
