Mudget Lake is always a pleasure to visit. A lake nearby is Lake White Cloud, and White River Roughing Area Campground is a perfect local campground. During the summertime highs here at Mudget Lake get into the 80's, and the night is rather chillier of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Mudget Lake through the winter ordinarily plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If the

| | weather is good here at Mudget Lake, you can go for a hike along the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail; Big Bend Park is a magnificent campground nearby.
Have a great hiking adventure along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail; if you get bored of Mudget Lake you could also take a look at nearby Loon Lake. point of view Mudget Lake is a quite normal site; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Big Rapids Super 8 Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest.

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
