The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mud Lakes, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Mud Lakes. Kalamazoo Super 8 Motel is a perfect       place to get some rest, and Mud Lakes is not far at all from Kalamazoo-Portage. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Mud Lakes. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel is a brilliant location to spend a night or two, and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Bittersweet. A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Mud Lakes is Kalamazoo River; while you're here and you like golf, you can visit Prairiewood                  Golf Course. Mud Lakes gets a typical amount of precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
