Playing golf is lots of fun at Beeches Golf Club; if you're here, you could also take a look at gorgeous Duck Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Mud Lake is close to the national average; September is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mud Lake       has to offer, you can camp at Rush Lake Campgrounds, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Timber Ridge. Just can't get enough of Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Thousand Adventures Travel Inn is a great spot for that; after a long day outdoors Ramada Watervliet is a nice site to spend a night or two. At Mud Lake all through the summer months highs are                  in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 60's.
