Mud Lake is a good spot of typical precipitation; most of the rain falls through September, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hammarstead Lake Camp Ground is always a magnificent experience, and McGuire's Resort is a good place to get some rest. You truly must like       Mud Lake. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Evart, Mi is a nice choice, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine River. You'll find a picturesque lake called Boot Lake near Mud Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Caberfae Peaks. Summertime highs at Mud Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into                  the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 0's.
