This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Woods Trail is always a glorious adventure, and US Forest Services Ranger Station is a nice local campground. Throughout the summertime here at Mud Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through       the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mud Lake.
