Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Escanaba River - Middle Branch; you can stay the night at Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds. Comfort Suites Marquette is a delightful location to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mud Lake has to offer, you can camp at Country Village RV Park. From a rainfall point of view Mud Lake is a       rather typical site; September is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. Anderson Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Marquette. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mud Lake. After a long day outdoors Marquette-Days Inn is a nice site to spend a night or two; if you're here you can take a hike along the Holyoke Trail. Summer brings                  highs in the 70's to Mud Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 0's.
