The beauty of Mud Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Mackinac Trail is delightful fun. During the warmest time of the year at Mud Lake highs are regularly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and night lows at Mud Lake during the winter frequently drop into the 10's.
