When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. This       lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at St Ignace Golf & Country Club, and Kewadin Shores Casino Hotel is a splendid location to get some rest. Any time is a magnificent time at Mud Lake if you love the outdoors. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Lake; North Country Trail is a magnificent local trail; if you came for an overnight stay Lakeshore Park Campground is a pleasant site to camp. Camping is available at Lake Shore RV Park,                  and swing by Kitchens Creek it's a magnificent spot to take a look at. Mud Lake is a good place of common precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Hit the slopes at Nubs Nob in the neighborhood, and since you're here you have to visit Poupard Bay.
