This lake is so wonderful. Mud Lake is not the only place nearby, Lime Lake is a nearby lake. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Juniper Hills Campground is a nice location for that. High temperatures at Mud Lake during the summer are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. All through       the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. A round of golf at nearby Devils Lake Golf Course is a good way to kill some time, and if you need a spot to stay Carlton Lodge - Adrian is a great choice. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Mud Lake, so little time. From a precipitation point of view Mud Lake is a relatively typical site; most of the rain falls during July, and the driest                  month of the year is February.
