Do take a look at Cranberry Lake right next door to Mud Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and Castle Creek Golf Club is a delightful golf course       nearby. Summertime highs at Mud Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 10's. Mud Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.
