Mud Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Grand Rogue Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground; if you've had enough of Mud Lake, Elk Lake is nearby. Mud Lake is a good place of common rain; the month with most of the rain is September; February on the other hand is the driest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area in the neighborhood of Mud Lake has to offer. An afternoon playing golf at Scott Lake Country Club is always a delight.
