There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Manistee Station Cabin and Camping is a nice place for that, and Grand Traverse Resort & Spa is a perfect place to get some rest. The yearly rainfall here at Mud Lake is about average; September is when you get the most rain       here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Mud Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Lots of people from Cadillac come to Mud Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mud Lake has to offer, you can camp at Torch Grove Campgrounds. For the duration of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Mud Lake; the night is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 50's. For the duration of                  the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
