You're sure to stumble upon some smiling people from Kalamazoo-Portage here, and you can stay the night at American Campgrounds. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Kalamazoo West, and Wolf Lake is a brilliant lake close by. Enjoy a round of golf at The Prairies Golf Club not far from Mud Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Timber Ridge. High       temperatures at Mud Lake through the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mud Lake. What a spot this is for outdoors people. If you need a spot to stay Kalamazoo Super 8 Motel is a great choice, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kalamazoo River. There's so much to do here                  at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stadium Drive West Mobile Home is a glorious spot for that; you can hit the slopes at Bittersweet in close proximity.
