Mud Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Don't forget       to take a wonderful little trip to Portage Creek, and since you're here, you could also visit delightful Kimble Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Oak Shores Resort Campground, and playing golf is lots of fun at Angels Crossing Golf Club. All through the summer at Mud Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Mud Lake overnight low temperatures                  all through the wintertime are in the 10's.
