Mud Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Robinhood Of Sherwood Forest is a delightful local campground, and some of the water nearby flows, like Batteese Creek. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Mud Lake rules! Here at Mud Lake there are plenty of people from Jackson, and if you came to camp Oaks Campgrounds is a tremendous place to do that. A perfect       nearby hotel is Holiday Inn JACKSON NORTHWEST; golf can be played at Lakeland Hills Golf Club. If you need a place to stay Jackson Travelodge is a wonderful choice, and Smith Lake is a fine lake close by. From a rainfall point of view Mud Lake is a pretty normal place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. At Mud Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. For the duration                  of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Mud Lake descend into the 10's. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Red Cedar River. Lakes?
