Shady Acres Campgrounds is a delightful campground here; needless to say, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Crispell Lake is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Deer Run Golf Club, and you can stay the night at Somerset Beach Campground. All through the warmest time of the year here at Mud Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's; the nighttime is       quite cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Mud Lake. If you need a location to stay Country Hearth Inn Jackson is a fine choice.
