You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Lyons Lake is one of those nearby. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leisure Lake Family Campground is a wonderful site for that. Some close by water includes Figg Drain; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites University       Park. This lake is so wonderful. Pleasant Hills Golf Club is a brilliant golf course nearby; after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Mt. Pleasant is a great location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Mud Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Lake temperatures                  plunge to the 10's. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mud Lake. There's whitewater on Chippewa River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lakes are good; LaStrange Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Mud Lake.
