Summertime highs at Mud Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mud Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Mud Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Tee Pee Motel and Restaurant is a great place for that. AuSable Valley Hotel and Conference Center is a delightful place to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Skyline Ski Slide in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful.
