This lake is so wonderful. Curtis Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lansing Cottonwood Campground is a tremendous site for that. Summer at Mud Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are frequently       in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake dip into the 10's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Mud Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest of the months is February. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do close to Mud Lake. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because                  Highland Hills Golf Club is close by; after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Dewitt is a great spot to spend a night or two. Here at Mud Lake you'll perhaps meet some folks from Lansing-East Lansing, and there's some flowing water nearby, Ives Drain is a stream you can stop by during your stay.
