There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mackinaw Campgrounds is a good place for that; Waterfront Inn is a good location to get some rest. Mud Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites Beachfront is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and Boyne Highlands has

Mud Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Mackinaw City Camping is a perfect local campground, and swamps don’t sound that great but Dingman Marsh near Mud Lake is relatively great. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Mud Lake. Lake is a lake that's close to Mud Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sturgeon River, and hiking along the Horseshoe Bay Trail is splendid fun. During the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Mud Lake. During
