Why not camp at Camp Sea-Gull since you're here at Mud Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn Charlevoix is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Charlevoix is a delightful lake next to Mud Lake; if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Charlevoix City Golf Course. Through the summer months at Mud Lake highs are mostly in the 70's while night lows are mostly       in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake dip into the 10's. Uhrick's RV Park and Cabins is a perfect local campground; a good close by hotel is Charlevoix Inn By Resort Bookings. Mud Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This place, Mud Lake, it                  just has so much outdoors amusing stuff. A great site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Mud Lake is Bear River, and the snow is good at Boyne Highlands.
