Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn Battle Creek; Mud Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Function Junction Campground is a great local campground. Throughout the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Mud Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's.       Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
