There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here       for a while, Coldwater River Campground is a good spot for that, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Prairie River Golf Club. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Lake, you could also stop by stunning Mallow Lake; Super 8 Howe is a nice location to get some rest. High temperatures at Mud Lake all through the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the                  60's.
