At Mud Lake throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. If you get bored of Mud Lake, you could also stop by close by Yellow Lake, and Elbel Golf Course is a splendid golf course close by. Mud       Lake is a good spot of typical precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Mud Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Three Braves Campground is a glorious location to camp nearby. Clear Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you need a place to stay Airport Inn and Suites is a tremendous                  choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Niles-Benton Harbor; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 South Bend.
